Three worlds collide in Capsule #1
-
Scandinavian, Mediterranean, Parisian
Capsa’s first capsule collection is inspired in equal measures by Scandinavian, Mediterranean and Parisian culture – mixing a northern sense of minimalism with tactile warmth and southern exuberance, held together with a touch of chic. Consisting of two opposing elements, it sets the rich pattern of the Hope Blooms print in stark contrast with the minimal graphic shapes of the sculptural cotton concept.

Sculptural Cotton
Inspired by the work of Paris based sculptor Constantin Brancusi, combined with influences of Mediterranean architecture and Scandinavian design – Capsa’s sculptural cotton pieces are executed in deep black or pale ivory for maximal graphic impact.
Capsa’s sculptural cotton garments are made in Paris using local ateliers.

Hope Blooms
The Hope Blooms print was developed in collaboration with French textile artist Laura Monin, combining lush floral inspiration with clean sweeping panels of colour. Using spontaneous gestures and liquid inks that drip and bleed into each other, the result is a look that is both creative, raw and refined.
Capsa’s silk scarves are made in Lyon – the historic capital of the european silk trade with traditions dating back to the 15th Century. Working with local ateliers who have earned the label “Entreprise de Patrimoine Vivant”, the scarves are finished with traditional hand-rolled edges and eco-friendly printing techniques on lustruous silk crepe.
