How does it work?

  • Capsa is slow fashion made to order and functions through a trunkshow system.

    Pieces are presented on our website available for pre-order for a limited time. When you shop, you are placing a personal order directly with the designer.

    At the end of the trunkshow period orders are passed on to our manufacturing partners in Paris and Lyon. Pieces are produced only in the sizes and colours specified by our customers - reducing waste and over-production to a minimum.

    Pieces are delivered directly to customers upon completion of production, 5–12 weeks after end of trunkshow period.

    Please note that the nature of made-to-order fashion compels us to leave a slightly wider time window to allow for unforeseen circumstances in production and avoid unnecessary disappointment - however we will always aim to deliver your purchase at the shortest delay possible.

    TRUNKSHOW RETURNS POLICY

    We want you to be completely satisfied with your online purchase, and take every care to accompany you through the ordering process. In order to make sure you get the size and model that is right for you, please do not hesitate to contact us on contact@capsaparis.com should you have any questions before placing your order.

    However, if you change your mind for any reason you can simply return your item(s) to our studio in Paris, France for a full refund or store credit of the item’s value post marked within 15 days of the delivery date. Store credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

    The exception to this is products bought from the “by special order” section, which will receive a partial refund only.

  • WHAT IS "BY SPECIAL ORDER"?

    The »by special order« pieces have the same easy versatile look and feel as the main collection – but are shaped and tailored in a way that demands an additional level of attention to make sure the right size and model is selected. During this process, we discuss your measurements for the best possible fit as well as answer any questions you may have. Garments purchased as »by special order« will receive a partial refund only.

    »BY SPECIAL ORDER« RETURNS POLICY

    Garments purchased as “by special order” will receive a partial refund only. We do our very best to communicate extensively with you in order to ensure you will receive a style you will love. During this process, we discuss your measurements for the best possible fit and answer any questions you may have.

    If for whatever reason you change your mind after the order is processed you may only be refunded 60% of the total amount. The remaining amount is used to cover our costs. The exception to this is if the garment is found to be damaged upon delivery, in which case you will receive the full amount.

  • THE SYSTEM IS CHANGING

    Capsa is based in France – and our studio and main ateliers are right here in the heart of Paris. Accordingly, we initially chose to base our sizes on the French sizing system – however, capsule #1 taught us that we have an audience far beyond the borders of France. For capsule #2 we have therefore chosen to revisit our sizes to be better adapted to our international customers.

    For returning customers this means chosing a size down from your previous order – in other words if you ordered an L from capsule #1 you should now take an M, if you ordered an M you should now take an S.

    Please refer to our sizing conversion tables, or contact us directly for a personal discussion in order to find the perfect fit for you.

  • Items are shipped 5–12 weeks after closure of “trunkshow” period.

    We will always aim to ship your order as quickly as possible - we just leave a slightly wider time window to allow the made-to-order production cycle to take place correctly, and avoid unnecessary disappointment. Your order will always be sent as soon as your item is ready.

    We send all EU orders through the French post “La Poste - Colissimo” delivery system - tracked packages delivered directly to you or at your nearest pick-up point.

    We are working to add additional delivery methods as soon as possible – however at present our website is only able to process deliveries this way. Please contact us on contact@capsaparis for enquiries if you prefer a different delivery system. We thank you for your patience with this issue.

    Please note, shipping fees, import duties or taxes are non refundable upon return of an order.

    FREE PICK-UP

    If you wish to pick up your order in person you may do so for free from our studio in Paris 20th district. Please contact us directly on contact@capsaparis.com for further details

    INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

    At the present moment our website is only able to process orders within the European Union. Please contact us directly for enquiries about orders outside the EU on contact@capsaparis

    We are working to add international shipping to our website as soon as possible – however at present we are not able to process international shipping online. We thank you for your patience with this issue.

    Payment of all international customs fees, taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer. Please note, shipping fees, import duties and taxes are non refundable upon return of an order.

  • Payments on our site are processed through PayPal - most major credit cards are accepted and do not need to be linked to a PayPal account.
